    On Friday afternoon after you leave work, you probably think about going out and having a few drinks with friends to relax and wind down.

    This is the word that most people hate. It conjures up in the mind the days of PE/PT/Games at school, and not too many people have fond memories of those days.

    There are a large number of exercise and fitness clubs set up to help us out in our pursuit of fitness. The number of such clubs is increasing by the day according to their rising demand. They certainly serve their purpose of helping us out in our endeavors of begetting good health.

    Fitness is achieved by combining specialized exercises with balanced nutrition. The object is to regulate the intake of calories and their proper utilization. If the calorie intake and use is well checked with respect to body weight then much of fitness is already achieved.

    Now some of you might be thinking of a lot of other words to describe exercise and fun isn’t one of them. But if you consider exercise to be hard work, a chore, something to hate then you will never start to take part in any exercise and more importantly enjoy it.

    Exercise is really important and whatever form of exercise you choose you should treat it as something that you deserve to do and know that it will enhances your life.

  7. Get Started
    Getting started is the hardest part of exercise especially if it is something you haven’t done for many years. Think about how your day works and how you can slip in the exercise without even noticing.

  8. Protect your feet when exercising
    Your feet are one of the important parts of your body and yet many people ignore their feet completely. If you are overweight then it is your feet which are holding you up. Your feet deserve to be pampered and you need to know how to look after them when exercising.

  9. Stop
    It is time to stop using the car as much as you do and it is time to get outdoors and walk. Stop thinking that exercise is difficult and remember that fitness is essential. With increased energy levels, things you do around the house and the office will become less effort and more invigorating.

  10. Triumph with Exercising
    How many times have you tried to exercise? Has it been a New Year’s Resolution which you failed to keep within the first week of January?
