There will be 2 different groups of people who will want to get this course. The first group will be people who want to get fit and/or lose weight. The second group are those who want to move into the fitness and diet area on the internet and are looking for good quality books to use.
Let me start briefly with the second group because my main focus in this mini book and the other books is going to be on the second group. We will be setting up an affiliate scheme for the books and all the information will be available so send me an email admin@theperfectdietbook.com
The first group can also be broken down into again into two groups. I have checked and the following statistics are from 2006.
In America studies suggest that as many as 60% of adults are overweight. One third of adults are obese. Many have a binge eating orders. Approximately 31% of teenage girls and 28% of teenage boys are also overweight.
In the UK it is one in five adults who are obese. Teenagers are becoming more and more obese.
For adults, overweight and obesity ranges are determined by using weight and height to calculate a number called the “body mass index” (BMI). BMI is used because, for most people, it correlates with their amount of body fat.
• An adult who has a BMI between 25 and 29.9 is considered overweight.
• An adult who has a BMI of 30 or higher is considered obese.
What does all this mean in reality? It means that either you or someone you know is either overweight or obese. If you have children then they could also be caught up in the trap of obesity.
The Perfect Diet Book is really for you all, to help you and your children and your grandchildren to move from obesity to a more correct weight with no more eating disorders.
